We are currently seeking a motivated and meticulous Data Entry Clerk to become a vital part of our operations team. In this role, you will serve as a key guardian of our organizational data integrity, ensuring that the information our teams rely on every day is accurate, up-to-date, and properly maintained. If you take pride in precision, enjoy structured yet dynamic work, and want to grow within a supportive company culture, we want to hear from you.

About arenaflex

arenaflex stands at the forefront of our industry, delivering solutions and services that help organizations operate more efficiently, make smarter decisions, and achieve sustainable growth. Our core values — integrity, diligence, collaboration, and continuous improvement — are not just words on a wall; they guide every decision we make and every process we build. We foster a workplace where diversity of thought is celebrated, where curiosity is encouraged, and where every employee has a voice. At arenaflex, you are not just filling a role — you are contributing to a mission that matters.

Job Overview

The Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex plays a pivotal role in maintaining the quality and reliability of our internal and external data systems. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for inputting, verifying, and managing a high volume of data across multiple platforms and databases. Accuracy, speed, and confidentiality are at the heart of this position. You will work closely with cross-functional teams — including administration, finance, customer service, and project management — to ensure that data flows seamlessly across the organization. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in structured environments, enjoys working with information systems, and wants to build a long-term career in data management and business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate and efficient data entry across a variety of software platforms, databases, and internal systems, ensuring all records are entered correctly the first time.
  • Verify, validate, and cross-check data to confirm accuracy, completeness, and consistency; identify and correct errors or discrepancies promptly.
  • Organize, categorize, and maintain digital and physical records, adhering to established filing systems, retention schedules, and data governance policies.
  • Collaborate with team members across departments to resolve data-related issues, respond to internal queries, and support data audit processes.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality protocols when handling sensitive or proprietary company information, employee records, and client data.
  • Generate reports, prepare data exports, and format datasets for analysis by other departments or leadership teams using tools such as Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or internal reporting software.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies in current data workflows, recommending automation tools, and supporting the implementation of new systems.
  • Maintain data security standards by following IT policies, using authorized access credentials, and reporting any suspected data breaches or security concerns immediately.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including scanning documents, managing shared drives, updating contact lists, and supporting general office operations.
  • Participate in training sessions and team meetings to stay current on software updates, compliance requirements, and best practices in data management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role at arenaflex, candidates must meet the following core requirements:

  • Proven proficiency in typing — a minimum of 60 words per minute with a high degree of accuracy (96% or higher preferred).
  • Exceptional attention to detail — the ability to spot errors, inconsistencies, and anomalies in data that others might overlook.
  • Strong organizational skills — comfort managing multiple data streams, deadlines, and filing systems simultaneously.
  • Fundamental computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel), Google Workspace, and common data entry tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion, professionalism, and a strong ethical compass.
  • Clear and effective communication skills — both written and verbal — for collaborating with team members and escalating issues appropriately.
  • Solid time management and prioritization abilities, with the capacity to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptability and eagerness to learn — a willingness to be trained on new software, systems, and internal processes as arenaflex continues to grow and evolve.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree or relevant coursework in business administration, information technology, or data management is a plus).

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications will help candidates stand out and accelerate their success at arenaflex:

  • Previous professional experience in a data entry, administrative assistant, records clerk, or similar role (1+ year preferred).
  • Familiarity with enterprise-level database systems such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, QuickBooks, or custom CRM platforms.
  • Experience working with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software or document management systems.
  • Certifications in data management, Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS), or related fields.
  • Background in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, legal) where HIPAA, GDPR, or other data compliance frameworks are relevant.
  • Basic understanding of data governance, data quality principles, or records management best practices.

Core Skills and Competencies for Success

Beyond technical qualifications, arenaflex looks for individuals who embody certain personal and professional qualities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Reliability and Consistency — You show up prepared, focused, and dedicated to producing quality work every single day.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset — When you encounter a data anomaly or workflow challenge, you don't just flag it — you think critically about potential solutions.
  • Ownership and Accountability — You take responsibility for your work, acknowledging mistakes openly and taking steps to correct them.
  • Team-Oriented Attitude — You understand that data management is a team sport and contribute positively to a collaborative work environment.
  • Resilience Under Pressure — You can maintain focus and accuracy even during busy periods, end-of-month reporting cycles, or system transitions.
  • Initiative — You proactively look for ways to improve processes, reduce errors, and add value beyond your core responsibilities.

Career Growth and Learning Opportunities at arenaflex

One of the most compelling reasons to join arenaflex is our genuine investment in your long-term professional development. We do not see this role as a static position — we see it as a launching pad. arenaflex offers structured learning paths, mentorship opportunities, and internal mobility programs designed to help you grow. Data Entry Clerks who demonstrate initiative and strong performance may progress into roles such as:

  • Senior Data Administrator — taking on more complex data management responsibilities and system oversight.
  • Data Analyst — leveraging the data expertise you build to support business intelligence and strategic decision-making.
  • Operations Coordinator — expanding into broader operational responsibilities, project coordination, and process management.
  • Records Management Specialist — deepening your expertise in compliance, data retention, and information governance.

arenaflex supports your growth through tuition reimbursement programs, access to online learning platforms, internal workshops, and a generous professional development budget. We want you to build a career — not just hold a job.
