Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Data Collection and Analysis: Collect, summarize, and analyze comprehensive data to support both long-term and short-term strategic planning for Pharmacy and Retail Operations
• Strategic Planning Support: Assist in the development and implementation of applications and systems that enhance operational effectiveness and patient care
• Enterprise Systems Expertise: Maintain thorough knowledge of enterprise systems and practices related to all aspects of Pharmacy and Retail Operations within the Retail Hub
• Complex Analysis: Conduct sophisticated analysis of data to build business cases for system and process changes, improvements, and interface opportunities with summarized costs and ROI metrics
• Project Execution: Serve as the operational point of contact for various initiatives to drive project execution and successful outcomes
• Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate relevant project information to stakeholders both corporately and within the field, ensuring alignment and understanding of business impacts
• Recommendation Development: Analyze complex business scenarios, develop unique recommendations, and present data related to proposed applications that meet business and strategic goals
• Ad-hoc Project Management: Manage complex ad-hoc projects and analyses as needed, adapting to changing priorities and business requirements
• Reporting and Tools: Plan, design, and deploy appropriate reports and tools that enhance decision-making and operational visibility
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate across Pharmacy and Retail Operations, IT, legal and regulatory, process improvement teams, and other departments to develop effective operational solutions
• Mentorship: Provide guidance, coaching, and oversight to less senior Business Analysts, fostering professional growth and knowledge sharing
• Operational Problem Solving: Identify operational challenges and recommend evidence-based solutions to address complex business problems
• Process Improvement: Contribute to process development and enhancement initiatives that streamline operations and improve efficiency
• Market Intelligence: Conduct business trend analysis, competitive analysis, and organizational positioning studies to inform strategic decision-making

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and at least 1 year of experience with analyzing and reporting data to identify problems, trends, or exceptions to drive development of outcomes and solutions; OR
• High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of experience with analyzing and reporting data to identify problems, trends, or exceptions to drive development of outcomes and solutions
• Minimum of 1 year of experience querying databases using tools such as SQL, Golden, Business Objects, EDW, SAS, and/or SQL Server
• Demonstrated experience in identifying operational problems and implementing effective solutions
• Experience communicating the impact of business analysis results to business leaders and stakeholders
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word (including formatting headers, page breaks, page numbers, tables, adjusting table columns)
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including using SUM function, formatting borders, adjusting column width, creating charts, text wrap, sorting, headers/footers, print scaling)
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint (including applying themes, formatting individual spacing, inserting images, changing slide layout and theme colors, adding transitions, customizing slide numbers, formatting charts, adjusting font styles)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree or MBA in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Data Analytics, or related field
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Data Science, or related field
• Direct experience in retail pharmacy operations or healthcare retail environments
• Experience working with healthcare data and understanding pharmacy-specific metrics and operations
• Project management certification or experience
• Experience with data visualization tools beyond Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with healthcare compliance regulations and standards
• Experience mentoring or training junior team members
• Knowledge of industry best practices in business analysis and process improvement
