Sales Representative — Construction Software
Company: BuildVision AI Location: Dallas–Fort Worth, TX (remote, DFW-based) Compensation: $3,000/mo base + uncapped commission. OTE $200k+. About BuildVision builds AI estimating and takeoff software for contractors. Upload a set of plans, get a takeoff in minutes instead of days. We sell to general contractors, subcontractors, and estimators. The Role You'll own the full sales cycle — handle inbound demo requests and prospect new accounts on your own. This is a hybrid closing and hunting role, not one or the other.
Responsibilities
- Run product demos for inbound leads and convert them to paying customers
- Prospect and qualify new contractors through outbound outreach
- Manage your pipeline from first contact to close
- Relay customer feedback to the product team
Requirements
- Experience in construction (estimating, project management, or field) OR experience selling software to contractors
- Comfortable running a full cycle: prospecting, demos, and closing
- Can talk to GCs and subs without a script
- Self-directed; you'd rather hunt than wait on leads
Nice to Have
- Sold for a construction SaaS (Procore, STACK, Buildertrend, Knowify, etc.)
- Existing relationships with contractors
