As part of our ongoing digital transformation, we are expanding our data‑centric teams and looking for a seasoned professional to lead information‑task examination initiatives from the comfort of a remote work environment.

Why This Role Matters

The Senior Lead Information Tasks Examiner is a cornerstone position that bridges data engineering, security analysis, and operational excellence. In today’s data‑driven financial ecosystem, the ability to detect, diagnose, and remediate data quality and integrity issues before they impact products and services is critical. This role will guide cross‑functional technology teams, shape data‑quality standards, and champion continuous improvement across large‑scale data ecosystems. If you thrive on solving complex technical puzzles, mentoring teams, and influencing strategic decisions, this is the opportunity to make a tangible impact on arenaflex’s core operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead data‑quality initiatives for a portfolio of data‑analysis products that support internal banking operations, ensuring that data integrity is maintained across all downstream systems.
  • Act as the primary liaison for the identification and triage of data incidents affecting the client information examination platform, coordinating rapid response and root‑cause analysis.
  • Perform deep‑dive technical investigations within a massive data environment, applying end‑to‑end analytical techniques to uncover hidden data anomalies.
  • Design, execute, and document comprehensive research studies on ongoing data quality triggers, presenting findings and actionable recommendations to internal stakeholders.
  • Drive the development and rollout of new data‑pipeline tools, workflow enhancements, and readiness initiatives for upcoming product releases.
  • Serve as the central point of contact between internal teams and external service providers, ensuring clear communication, accurate documentation, and seamless delivery of data solutions.
  • Champion continuous improvement by inventing new processes, tools, and best‑practice frameworks that elevate data reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to the establishment of performance standards for the data‑quality team, guaranteeing that all activities meet or exceed defined service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Oversee daily risk and control workflows, focusing on architecture, methodology, and procedural guidelines to achieve optimal outcomes and drive sustained support enhancements.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams to meet project deadlines, fostering collaboration and alignment with broader technology initiatives.
  • Audit, approve, and implement prescribed changes to data‑management plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal governance requirements.
  • Partner with business partners to define strategic initiatives and deliver technology solutions that align with arenaflex’s long‑term vision.
  • Mentor junior analysts and peers, sharing expertise in data‑quality techniques, ETL processes, and modern data‑engineering tools.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on experience in data analysis, data quality, or data‑engineering roles, with a proven track record of solving complex data problems.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting large‑scale data environments, including exposure to distributed storage and processing frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of ETL concepts, data warehouse architecture, and data‑quality assessment methodologies.
  • Proficiency in at least two of the following tools: Hive, Pig, Autosys, Grafana, Splunk, or comparable monitoring and orchestration platforms.
  • Experience with Kafka and MongoDB is highly desirable, reflecting an ability to work with streaming data and NoSQL databases.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into clear business recommendations.
  • Self‑motivated and capable of leading remote teams, managing priorities, and delivering results in a fast‑paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Experience

  • Advanced certifications such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), AWS Certified Data Analytics, or equivalent.
  • Hands‑on experience with Hadoop ecosystem components, including HDFS, MapReduce, and YARN.
  • Background in information security or risk management, enhancing the ability to assess data‑related security implications.
  • Prior involvement in large‑scale data migration or modernization projects, showcasing change‑management expertise.
  • Demonstrated ability to travel up to 10 % of the time for on‑site collaboration, training sessions, or stakeholder meetings.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to dissect complex data sets, identify patterns, and propose data‑driven solutions.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong command of SQL, scripting languages (Python, Bash), and data‑pipeline orchestration tools.
  • Project Leadership: Experience leading cross‑functional initiatives, managing timelines, and delivering outcomes on schedule.
  • Collaboration: Proven track record of working effectively with engineers, product owners, compliance officers, and external vendors.
  • Communication: Clear, concise, and persuasive written and verbal communication, tailored to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Continuous Learning: Commitment to staying current with emerging data‑technology trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices.
