What You'll Do – Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Service & Sales Representative at arenaflex, you'll be the first point of contact for customers of our valued brand clients. Your day will be filled with meaningful conversations, problem-solving, and opportunities to make a real impact. Core responsibilities include:

  • Customer Support Excellence: Handle inbound calls from customers seeking assistance with billing inquiries, account updates, service changes, cancellations, and general questions. Deliver clear, empathetic, and solution-oriented communication on every call.
  • Sales & Up-Selling: For those hired into sales-focused roles, identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products, services, or upgrades that deliver real value. Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets while maintaining the highest standards of customer care.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Depending on assignment, assist customers with basic to intermediate technical issues related to their accounts, devices, or services, walking them through step-by-step resolutions.
  • Multi-Application Navigation: Efficiently operate across multiple software platforms, CRM systems, and knowledge bases simultaneously to research accounts, log notes, and provide accurate information in real time.
  • Order Management: Process new orders, service changes, and account modifications accurately and efficiently, ensuring all customer data is captured correctly in our systems.
  • Compliance & Quality Standards: Adhere to client-specific guidelines, regulatory requirements, and arenaflex quality benchmarks on every interaction. Participate in ongoing coaching and performance reviews.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay current on product offerings, promotions, and process updates through ongoing training, team huddles, and self-directed learning.
  • 7-Day Availability: Customer service doesn't stop on weekends, and neither do we. We're looking for team members with flexible schedules, including 7 days a week availability, with specific shifts discussed during the interview process.

Who We're Looking For – Minimum Requirements

To thrive in this role, you'll need a combination of education, experience, technical readiness, and a strong customer-first mindset. Our minimum qualifications include:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent (required).
  • Customer Service Experience: At least one year of customer service experience in a call center, retail, hospitality, or related environment.
  • Sales Experience (for Sales Roles): At least one year of sales experience if applying for a sales-focused position.
  • Reliable Home Office Setup: A quiet, distraction-free workspace in your home where you can focus on customer interactions without interruption.
  • Personal Computer: Your own PC (laptop acceptable) capable of running required applications. Laptops must be hard-wired via Ethernet during work hours.
  • High-Speed Internet: A reliable, high-speed broadband internet connection that will be tested as part of the application process.
  • Monitor Requirements: A flat-panel monitor between 17 and 21.5 inches, capable of at least 1280 x 768 resolution. (TVs may be permitted but must be verified upon hire. External monitors are allowed for laptop users.)
  • Telephone: A landline or cell phone, depending on the specific position offered.
  • Multi-Tasking Ability: Comfort with navigating several applications and browser tabs at once while maintaining conversational quality with customers.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work variable schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as customer service is a 7-days-a-week operation.

Note on Equipment: Some positions may require the purchase of specific equipment such as a headset, flash drive, or dual monitors. You will not be asked to purchase any equipment prior to receiving a formal job offer. Once hired, our team will guide you through exactly what is needed.

Preferred Qualifications & Standout Candidate Traits

While the above are required, candidates who stand out typically bring some or all of the following:

  • Previous work-from-home or remote customer service experience.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Zendesk, or similar tools.
  • Strong typing speed (typically 35+ WPM) with high accuracy.
  • Previous experience in telecommunications, cable, satellite, or streaming service support.
  • A demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales KPIs in a customer-facing role.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, including a professional and friendly phone presence.
  • Resilience, adaptability, and a solutions-driven mindset.
  • Bilingual abilities (Spanish, French, or other languages) are a strong plus and may qualify you for additional opportunities.

Although pay rates vary by client and role, our work-from-home positions have historically paid in the range of $12 per hour, with opportunities for attendance-based wage increases, performance bonuses, and sales incentives on qualifying programs.
