Role Overview: Senior Technical Program Leader, Customer Data Platform

arenaflex is searching for a skilled Sr. Technical Program Leader to manipulate and oversee the successful delivery of our organization use cases associated with customer journey orchestration and the Adobe Experience Platform (AEP). In this pivotal role, you'll ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and with high quality, while also aligning with our large organization objectives. This position will be instrumental in shaping our organization's strategic direction and managing our diverse use case portfolio. Your strong technical acumen and leadership skills will be essential in ensuring efficient management of resources, timelines, and cross-departmental communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Drive the Customer Data Platform strategy, ensuring alignment with organization-wide objectives and vision
  • Program Management: Create, maintain, and track project plans and schedules, resource estimates, and roadmaps throughout the project lifecycle
  • Implementation Leadership: Lead the planning and implementation of organization-wide use cases, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives
  • Stakeholder Management: Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to define program controls, governance structures, and success parameters
  • Problem Solving: Navigate complex challenges, provide solutions, and ensure that all teams align on a unified vision
  • Industry Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the evolving business landscape to incorporate best practices and emerging trends into the program strategy
  • Communication Excellence: Establish clear communication channels across teams, ensuring transparency and fluidity in information dissemination
  • Technology Awareness: Keep abreast of the latest trends in customer data platform technologies and innovation
  • Coordination: Facilitate cross-departmental coordination and communication for smooth project execution
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor and track project progress, addressing any issues or delays proactively
  • Risk Management: Implement project risk management techniques to mitigate potential obstacles
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot technical issues associated with the platform and implement effective solutions
  • Technology Alignment: Collaborate with IT and other teams to align on tech goals and implementations
  • Team Development: Mentor and guide teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning

What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Proven experience in program management, preferably in the area of customer data systems and personalization
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a flair for building and nurturing relationships across departments
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to see and resolve situational and systemic challenges
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a track record of guiding teams to success
  • Strong technical aptitude, particularly with customer data management
  • Experience working in Digital, Ecommerce, Marketing, or Loyalty organizations
  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles
  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Professional certification in program or project management
  • Prior experience working with Adobe Experience Platform or similar customer data platforms
  • Deep understanding of omnichannel marketing strategies and implementation challenges
  • Prior experience with enterprise Project Management tools such as Adobe Workfront, JIRA, etc.
  • Experience in a large enterprise or Fortune 500 company
