Key Responsibilities

Data Management & Entry

  • Utilize arenaflex’s proprietary data‑entry platforms to input new patient enrollment information accurately and efficiently.
  • Process prescription refill requests, medication orders, and “top‑off” orders while adhering to strict HIPAA guidelines.
  • Investigate and resolve missing or incomplete medication data, interpreting clinical abbreviations (SIG codes) as needed.
  • Handle “exception” cases—such as insurance denials or special authorizations—by reviewing, correcting, and resubmitting data according to internal protocols.

Customer Interaction

  • Respond to inbound calls, chats, and messages from patients, providing clear, courteous assistance.
  • Initiate outbound communications to prescribers, insurance carriers, and patients to verify information, obtain authorizations, or clarify prescription details.
  • Document all interactions in the system, ensuring a complete audit trail for future reference.

Collaboration & Support

  • Provide timely support to pharmacy staff—both in‑store and remote—by delivering accurate data and escalating complex issues to senior team members.
  • Identify trends or recurring data‑entry challenges and propose process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Participate in regular virtual team meetings, sharing insights and best practices with peers.

Compliance & Certification

  • Obtain a relevant professional certification (e.g., Certified Pharmacy Technician, HIPAA Compliance Certificate) within the first 90 days of employment.
  • Maintain an active certification throughout your tenure, completing any required continuing education.
  • Adhere to all arenaflex policies, state regulations, and federal guidelines related to patient privacy and data security.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Basic computer proficiency: ability to start/shut down a PC, use a mouse, navigate between applications, save and print documents, and access online resources.
  • Fundamental web‑search skills, including opening programs, entering URLs, using bookmarks, and navigating web pages.
  • Minimum typing speed of 25 words per minute (WPM) with a focus on accuracy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States; must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • At least one year of experience in a pharmacy or retail environment, preferably with exposure to call‑center operations.
  • Experience with pharmacy enrollment processes, state‑mandated verification, or similar regulatory compliance work.
