We are currently expanding our remote workforce and are looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy Remote Data Entry Specialist to support our financial services operations. Position Overview

As a Remote Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in supporting our core engineering and data operations teams. You will be responsible for entering, verifying, and maintaining critical financial and operational data across multiple internal platforms that serve customers in more than 20 countries. Your work will directly support the technology systems that enable essential business functions and ensure that arenaflex continues to meet stringent financial regulatory expectations.

This is a fully remote, online position offering a starting pay rate of $26 per hour, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to grow within a globally respected organization. Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter, update, and maintain large volumes of financial and operational data across relational database systems used by arenaflex.
  • Support the development, deployment, and operational stability of database applications across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Collaborate with core engineering teams to ensure data integrity, consistency, and accessibility across multiple technology platforms.
  • Develop, document, and execute effective test cases that can be integrated into continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Contribute to observability efforts by helping identify, document, and resolve the root causes of data-related issues in time-sensitive processes.
  • Write, optimize, and execute complex SQL queries to validate, extract, and report on data from production systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality, streamline workflows, and reduce errors in data handling processes.
  • Work with cross-functional teams including engineering, compliance, and operations to ensure data meets regulatory and business requirements.
  • Maintain detailed logs of data activities, anomalies, and resolutions for auditing and reporting purposes.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to continuously sharpen your skills.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, including the ability to work with formulas, pivot tables, and large datasets.
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy with strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, distraction-free home workspace.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive financial information with the highest level of confidentiality and integrity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience writing and optimizing SQL queries in a professional environment.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience developing observability capabilities within data solutions to enable quick identification of root causes for failures.
  • Exposure to public cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience working with relational database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Prior experience in financial services, banking, fintech, or a regulated industry is a strong plus.
  • Understanding of data governance, data quality frameworks, and regulatory compliance standards.
