Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate EAP Worklife Customer Support Associate to join our growing Mental Health Wellbeing team. This is a fully remote position, giving you the flexibility to work from anywhere in the United States. The role requires a Sunday through Thursday shift from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM EST, supporting our 24/7 call center operations.

Your ability to listen actively, assess needs, and provide empathetic guidance will directly impact someone's journey toward improved wellbeing.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct thorough assessments of member needs by asking insightful questions and documenting relevant information accurately
  • Research and communicate available EAP/Worklife services, resources, and provider options in a clear and articulate manner
  • Identify and respond to crisis situations promptly, implementing appropriate protocols to minimize risk and ensure member safety
  • Perform comprehensive research in internal databases and online resources to identify suitable providers and community support services
  • Enter member information into our EAP case management system, documenting all interactions thoroughly and professionally
  • Serve as a single-point-of-contact for members, resolving complex issues independently or with limited management intervention

Team Collaboration & Coordination

  • Receive calls transferred from counseling professionals and provide immediate, actionable assistance to members
  • Schedule appointments between members and licensed counselors or behavioral health providers
  • Assist team members with inquiries related to life skills resources, including child care, elder care, financial planning, and legal matters
  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders across departments to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Utilize internal databases to research and identify validated, appropriate resources for members
  • Make outbound calls as needed to secure member resources and coordinate service delivery
  • Support printing and fulfillment needs, including provider profiles, selection guidebooks, and informational materials for mailing
  • Maintain inventory of educational and promotional materials within the EAP system

Compliance & Documentation

  • Protect the confidentiality of member information in strict accordance with privacy regulations and enterprise policies
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation that meets risk management and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Adhere to all EAP and Worklife policies and procedures, ensuring consistent service quality
  • Administer structured pre-screening assessments based on triggers to ensure urgent needs are directed to appropriate professionals
  • Identify social determinants and unmet needs, connecting members with viable community resources
  • Proactively anticipate member needs and take full ownership of each interaction from start to resolution
