Agile Delivery Owner (Scrum Master)
Our direct, Fortune 100 client is looking for a REMOTE Agile Delivery Owner / Scrum Master for a long-term, extendable contract position. You will leverage agile practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions that support the organization's business objectives. This role focuses on maximizing business value and optimizing flow by guiding agile teams to meet their goals. You will ensure effective coordination within and across teams, providing transparency on delivery progress to key stakeholders This position is open to fully remote candidates but will follow an ET schedule. Day-to-day responsibilities: You will report to and work closely with the project manager and provide direct support to project sponsors, team leads, and team members to ensure effective coordination within and across teams, providing transparency on delivery progress to key stakeholders. You will leverage appropriate agile techniques, disciplines, tools, and ceremonies to estimate, plan, track, deliver, and support the work of the team. Ceremonies include, but are not limited to: - PI Planning, Quarterly Planning, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum (standups), Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, Continuous Improvement, Team Working Agreement, and other as assigned Tools include but are not limited to: - Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, SharePoint, Azure Dev Ops (AzDO), Copilot, Docsify, AgilePlace and potentially others as appropriate. Musts: - Ability to drive decisions and continuous improvements. - Negotiation skills with the ability to find successful resolutions for complex issues. - Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills needed to research and make recommendations. - Formal presentation skills and ability to use a variety of techniques to present information, including data and trends, to a variety of audiences, internal or external. - Interpersonal skills and ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve goals and accomplish work, including vendors. - Ability to work with others to resolve conflicts and use interpersonal methods to reduce tension and facilitate agreement. - Ability to prioritize and execute concurrent initiatives while balancing deadlines and stakeholder needs without impacting quality - Leadership skills with a focus on coaching, collaboration, and critical thinking. - The following combination of certifications are REQUIRED: Certified Advanced ScrumMaster (A-CSM) or Professional Scrum Master II (PSM II), plus Agile Leadership Certification (CAL 1) or SAFe Agilist.
