ABOUT THE ROLE As a Commercial Lines Account Associate at Savvital, you will play a critical role in supporting a U.S.-based commercial insurance agency. This is a specialized position requiring prior hands-on experience handling commercial insurance policies, workflows, and account servicing. The ideal candidate must be completely bilingual in English and Spanish, possessing the professional communication skills necessary to interact with international teams, clients, and carriers. This role is highly suited for professionals based in Peru who have a solid understanding of the U.S. insurance landscape, exceptional organizational habits, and experience working with major insurance management systems. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Quoting & Submissions: Rating commercial insurance policies, building comprehensive carrier applications, and handling the quoting and requoting process to ensure optimal coverage options. ACORD Forms & Documentation: Completing, updating, and processing standard ACORD forms to prepare highly accurate policy documentation for carrier submissions. Policy Servicing & Updates: Managing the full lifecycle of policy servicing, including handling endorsements, processing policy updates, and issuing Certificates of Insurance (COIs). Renewals & Cancellations: Conducting proactive renewal follow-ups, managing renewal email communication sequences, and executing policy cancellations accurately. System Management & Audits: Maintaining immaculate, up-to-date client and policy records inside the agency management platforms and conducting routine CRM and carrier platform audits. Carrier Coordination: Functioning as a reliable bridge between top U.S. insurance carriers and internal agency team members to ensure smooth policy progression, binding, and issue resolution. REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS Experience: 1+ years of professional experience specifically working in commercial lines insurance operations. Language Proficiency: Native or professional-level bilingual fluency in both written and spoken Spanish and English. AMS & Rater Competency: Direct, hands-on experience utilizing Applied Epic, EZLynx, and PL Rater is highly preferred. ACORD Forms Expertise: Demonstrated experience completing, reviewing, and preparing standard ACORD documentation for carrier underwriting. Carrier Familiarity: Prior experience navigating agent portals and submitting applications directly to top U.S. carriers, including but not limited to: The Hartford, Travelers, Foremost, Progressive, Acuity, and Nationwide. Mindset: High attention to detail, strong data entry accuracy, and a proactive approach to managing renewal deadlines and carrier requirements.
