At arenaflex, we believe the sky is not the limit — it is just the beginning. We are seeking a dedicated, technically skilled, and forward-thinking Senior Aviation Engineering Specialist to join our Integrated Operations Division. This role is designed for an accomplished engineer who thrives on solving complex aircraft maintenance challenges, mentoring emerging talent, and shaping the future of aviation safety and performance.

The aviation industry stands at an exciting crossroads. At arenaflex, you will be part of a team that values precision, innovation, and continuous improvement — a team that understands engineering excellence is the backbone of safe, efficient, and reliable air travel.

Why This Role Is a Career-Defining Opportunity

This position is much more than a job — it is a chance to become a recognized technical authority within a world-class engineering organization. As a Senior Aviation Engineering Specialist, you will be a pivotal member of our Engineering Team within the Integrated Operations Division. You will provide critical engineering support for the maintenance and operation of aircraft and related equipment, while also helping to establish and uphold component and aircraft standards across multiple areas of responsibility.

Whether you are analyzing in-service aircraft issues, developing custom repair procedures, or guiding fellow engineers through complex technical challenges, your contributions will directly impact the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our fleet. If you are looking for a role where your expertise is celebrated, your leadership is cultivated, and your professional development is actively supported, arenaflex is the place for you.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Aviation Engineering Specialist at arenaflex, you will be entrusted with a diverse and rewarding range of responsibilities, including:

  • Technical Mentorship and Training: Conduct specialized training sessions for technicians in your area(s) of expertise, empowering them to perform their roles with greater confidence and competence.
  • Peer Engineering Leadership: Serve as a technical mentor and guide to other engineers across the organization, helping them navigate complex challenges and grow professionally.
  • Project Management and Issue Resolution: Lead cross-functional project teams or act as a facilitator for problem-resolution initiatives, ensuring engineering deliverables are met on time and to the highest standards.
  • Regulatory and Manufacturer Coordination: Liaise with aircraft manufacturers and regulatory authorities as needed, ensuring that all engineering dispositions are properly validated in accordance with applicable standards and company manuals.
  • Development of Custom Technical Procedures: Create customized methods and special guidelines for repairs, modifications, inspections, calibrations, and other maintenance operations that are not adequately covered in existing manuals.
  • Operational Awareness: Stay informed about daily airline operations within your area of responsibility, reviewing day-to-day needs in alignment with departmental and corporate objectives.
  • Issue Investigation and Corrective Action: Analyze aircraft and component issues that may cause delays, cancellations, significant labor or material expenditures, or disruptions to maintenance operations, and determine appropriate corrective actions.
  • Real-Time Engineering Support: Provide timely engineering assistance for dispositioning discrepant conditions affecting aircraft or components, restoring them to airworthy status efficiently and safely.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Respond to requests from Maintenance and other airline departments when technical support is required to assist operations or resolve issues.
  • Action Plan Development: Develop comprehensive action plans for fleet, multi-fleet, and component engineering projects, pursuing detailed dispositions in accordance with assessed priorities.
  • Coordination of Engineering Dispositions: Work with other airline departments to harmonize the effective and efficient execution of engineering dispositions.
  • Engineering Documentation: Prepare engineering documents to implement technical dispositions, providing customized procedures for repairs, modifications, inspections, or other maintenance activities that deliver measurable benefits aligned with corporate goals.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain a thorough understanding of current and forthcoming regulations affecting your areas of responsibility, ensuring all engineering activities comply with applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Continuous Professional Development: Leverage available resources to continually expand your technical expertise and practical experience, while also improving your communication skills, time management, and other personal attributes critical to maximum effectiveness in your role.
  • Engagement With Frontline Teams: Actively engage with frontline colleagues and management alike, fostering a collaborative, transparent, and high-performance engineering culture.
