Why This Role Matters

As a Customer Experience Engineer on the arenaflex FastTrack for Azure (FTA) team, you will be at the forefront of transforming large‑scale enterprise customers into enthusiastic advocates of the arenaflex Cloud platform. You will partner with program managers, service delivery teams, and Azure engineering experts to design, implement, and optimize migration projects that span networking, security, and infrastructure. Your insights will directly influence product roadmaps, ensuring that arenaflex continues to set the benchmark for cloud quality, reliability, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning & Architecture: Collaborate with program managers and service delivery teams to design end‑to‑end migration strategies for complex, multi‑region infrastructure deployments.
  • Customer Engagement: Work closely with application, infrastructure, and security stakeholders at enterprise customers to gather requirements, define success criteria, and drive adoption of best‑in‑class Azure networking solutions.
  • Feedback Loop: Capture real‑world customer feedback and relay it to arenaflex product engineering teams, championing enhancements and escalating critical blockers.
  • Solution Development: Partner with Azure engineering domain experts to scope, build, and document custom solutions that address unique customer challenges.
  • Technical Enablement: Stay current with the latest arenaflex Cloud innovations, conduct experiments, and act as a subject‑matter trainer for fellow engineers and customers.
  • Collaboration & Escalation: Interact daily with other FastTrack Engineers, providing technical action plans, taking ownership of escalated issues, and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Produce solution documentation, contribute to technical communities, develop automated self‑help tools, and deliver training sessions.
  • Networking Expertise: Serve as the go‑to Cloud Networking resource for customers and internal engineers, guiding design decisions for Hub & Spoke, ExpressRoute, Virtual WAN, and related services.
  • Cultural Ambassadorship: Embody arenaflex’s core values of respect, integrity, accountability, and inclusion in every interaction.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in software or cloud‑infrastructure roles, with a focus on deployment automation.
  • Hands‑on experience with Azure infrastructure tools such as PowerShell, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, and Azure CLI.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Azure Networking, including at least one core IaaS service (e.g., Linux on Azure, Windows Server on Azure, Azure VMware Solution, or Disaster Recovery).
  • Solid understanding of cloud‑native security models, virtual appliances, and the ability to translate complex security concepts for customer teams.

Preferred Qualifications & Desired Experience

  • 5+ years of experience delivering Azure‑focused solutions to enterprise customers, encompassing application development, deployment, and migration.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to senior corporate stakeholders and influence product direction.
  • Deep knowledge of Azure Networking services such as Hub & Spoke topology, ExpressRoute, and Virtual WAN.
  • Familiarity with third‑party networking solutions and protocols (e.g., BGP) is a strong plus.
  • Background in on‑premises networking and infrastructure, including data‑center migrations and disaster‑recovery planning.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a track record of handling high‑stakes, politically sensitive situations while maintaining composure and delivering results.
  • Experience creating technical documentation, automated self‑service portals, and delivering internal or external training sessions.
