Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience & Support

  • Provide empathetic, solution‑focused assistance to customers via phone, chat, and email, resolving inquiries related to bookings, itineraries, and service disruptions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, guiding passengers through self‑service tools and digital platforms while promoting arenaflex’s loyalty programs.
  • Document customer interactions in the CRM system, identifying trends and escalating complex issues to the appropriate technical or operational teams.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional partners—including Operations, Marketing, and Product—to relay customer feedback that drives continuous improvement.

Technical Development & Cloud Operations

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS) that support customer‑facing portals, chatbots, and self‑service dashboards.
  • Build proof‑of‑concept (PoC) and minimum viable product (MVP) prototypes to validate new architectures, ensuring they meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.
  • Write clean, maintainable code in modern web frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Node.js, or Django, adhering to arenaflex’s coding standards and best practices.
  • Participate actively in code reviews, offering constructive feedback and mentoring junior developers on both front‑end and back‑end technologies.
  • Implement and manage containerized workloads using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes to achieve high availability and fault tolerance.
  • Utilize AWS services—including EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudFront—to deploy, monitor, and optimize applications for performance and cost efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, collaborating with the DevOps team to ensure seamless integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
  • Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, industry trends, and best practices, proactively recommending enhancements that keep arenaflex at the forefront of innovation.

Quality Assurance & Documentation

  • Develop automated test suites and conduct rigorous testing to guarantee software reliability and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, API specifications, and deployment guides.
  • Contribute to the evolution of software development processes, championing Agile methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong experience with web development technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern framework (Ruby on Rails, Node.js, or Django).
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Hands‑on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudFront.
  • Proficiency in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems, micro‑services architecture, and cloud‑native design patterns.
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL; familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a track record of debugging complex software issues.
  • Strong verbal communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively in a remote, fast‑paced environment.
  • Commitment to security and privacy best practices, especially when handling personally identifiable information (PII).
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.

  • Experience in the airline or travel industry, understanding of reservation systems and passenger service workflows.
  • Previous work in an Agile environment with frequent releases and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Advanced certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer, or Kubernetes Administrator.
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) platforms and data analytics tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional projects and mentor junior team members.
