As the world shifts toward more agile and data‑centric business models, the role of accurate data entry has never been more critical. At arenaflex, we recognize that every piece of information—whether it’s a shipment record, a customer inquiry, or an internal system update—forms the backbone of our global network. That’s why we are looking for dedicated, detail‑oriented individuals to join our remote workforce as Data Entry Specialists. If you thrive in a fast‑paced environment, love working with technology, and value the balance of home‑based flexibility, this is the perfect launchpad for your career.

Position Overview

As a Remote Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be the guardian of data integrity across our enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms, customer relationship management (CRM) tools, and logistics management systems. Your primary mission is to ensure that every data point entered into our databases is accurate, timely, and secure. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including logistics coordinators, IT support engineers, and compliance officers—to resolve data discrepancies, maintain confidentiality, and support the seamless flow of information that powers arenaflex’s worldwide operations.

This is a full‑time, work‑from‑home position based out of our Texas hub in TXALG, with potential alternate locations in TXDFW and TXDAL. Travel between offices may be required on an occasional basis for team meetings, training sessions, or on‑site support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Input & Maintenance: Accurately enter, update, and archive a wide variety of data—including shipment details, inventory counts, customer contacts, and financial records—into arenaflex’s proprietary and third‑party systems.
  • Quality Assurance & Auditing: Conduct routine data quality checks, perform reconciliation of discrepancies, and generate audit reports to uphold the highest standards of data integrity.
  • Issue Resolution: Work closely with IT support teams to troubleshoot data‑related problems, resolve system errors, and recommend process improvements.
  • Security & Compliance: Uphold strict data protection protocols, manage password updates, and ensure compliance with industry regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
  • Reporting & Communication: Provide regular status updates to supervisors, prepare progress dashboards, and communicate any data anomalies to relevant stakeholders.
  • Technical Support Assistance: Offer first‑line assistance to internal users regarding the use of PC equipment, software applications (including SPLUS, ETPS2, E2K, and related tools), printing, email, and network resources.
  • Collaboration: Partner with logistics coordinators, supply‑chain analysts, and customer service representatives to ensure data aligns with operational needs and business objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute ideas for workflow automation, suggest enhancements to data entry templates, and participate in training initiatives to keep skills current.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in data entry, office administration, or a related field is a strong advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience (minimum 1‑2 years) in data entry, administrative support, or a similar role, preferably within a fast‑moving logistics or technology environment.
  • Exceptional typing speed (≥70 WPM) with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with data‑entry software platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, enabling clear interaction with remote teams and internal clients.
  • Self‑motivated mindset, capable of working independently while also thriving in collaborative, virtual team settings.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data security best practices.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or logistics management platforms.
  • Knowledge of data‑validation tools, scripting basics (e.g., VBA, Python), or workflow automation concepts.
  • Familiarity with industry‑specific software such as SPLUS, ETPS2, and E2K, and the ability to quickly learn new applications.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, including password management and data encryption practices.
  • Previous remote work experience, demonstrating effective time management and virtual collaboration skills.

Core Skills & Competencies for Success

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to spot patterns, detect inconsistencies, and propose corrective actions.
  • Problem‑Solving: Proactive approach to troubleshooting data issues and escalating when necessary.
  • Customer‑Centric Attitude: Providing courteous, solution‑focused support to internal users and external partners.
  • Adaptability: Comfort with evolving technology stacks and shifting priorities in a dynamic business environment.
