As a Certified Pharmacy Clerk – Remote Data Entry Specialist, you will be the backbone of our Central Fill hub, ensuring that every prescription that flows through arenaflex’s digital pipelines is entered, verified, and processed with precision. Your work directly impacts patient safety, medication adherence, and the overall efficiency of our mail‑order pharmacy network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Pharmacist in updating patient profiles and entering prescription information into the pharmacy computer system, adhering to provincial regulations and safeguarding patient confidentiality.
  • Support the Pharmacist in the physical filling of prescriptions by retrieving stock bottles, counting, pouring, restocking, labeling, and pricing medications under direct supervision, while following strict safety and security protocols.
  • Prepare third‑party insurance claims, process invoices, and make accurate accounting entries using arenaflex’s computerized system.
  • Order, receive, tag, and stock prescription drugs and supplies, ensuring compliance with product storage procedures and industry standards.
  • Manage over‑the‑counter (OTC) product inventory, align stocking activities with the merchandising plan, create product signage, and conduct roaming checks to maintain optimal shelf presentation.
  • Provide remote data entry for prescriptions originating from all Ontario arenaflex Pharmacies, guaranteeing consistent data quality across multiple locations.
  • Collaborate with warehouse teams to assist in other operational areas as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a team‑first mindset.
  • Utilize arenaflex software (formerly known as Kroll) to streamline data entry, track inventory, and generate reports that support decision‑making.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education/Training: Completion of a pharmacy diploma from a recognized community college or equivalent program.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Possession of any provincial certification required for pharmacy support roles (e.g., Pharmacy Technician certification).
  • Experience: Prior experience in a pharmacy setting is strongly preferred; candidates with current pharmacy experience will be given priority consideration.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with pharmacy management software, especially arenaflex software, and a comfort level with robotics and automated dispensing systems.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of Ontario’s provincial regulations governing pharmacy data entry, patient confidentiality, and medication handling.
