Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Bid Writer/Designer role based in Jupiter, FL with hybrid/remote available. The Bid Writer/Designer will develop, write, and design compelling proposals, tenders, and bid responses that clearly communicate JENOPTIK’s value proposition to public and private sector clients. Typical responsibilities include coordinating input from sales, technical, legal, and project teams; structuring bid content; and tailoring standard materials to specific customer requirements. The role will involve managing bid timelines, ensuring compliance with submission criteria, and maintaining an organized library of reusable content and visual assets. The Bid Writer/Designer will also support the creation of presentation materials, case studies, and other customer-facing documents, ensuring brand consistency and a clear, persuasive narrative.
Qualifications
- Strong bid and proposal development capabilities, including experience writing clear, persuasive, and compliant responses for RFPs, RFQs, and tenders.
- Proficiency in document layout and visual design for proposals and presentations (e.g., advanced MS Word, PowerPoint; experience with Adobe InDesign or similar tools is a must).
- Excellent written communication, editing, and proofreading skills, with high attention to detail and the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.
- Effective project management skills, including time management, organization, and the ability to coordinate inputs from multiple stakeholders under tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and research abilities to understand client requirements, interpret technical information, and translate complex concepts into accessible content.
- Comfort working in a technology, engineering, or smart mobility environment; experience in traffic enforcement, public safety, or infrastructure sectors is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team, and operate with a high degree of integrity and accountability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Graphic Design, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
