Position Overview

We are seeking a meticulous, self‑motivated Data Entry Specialist to join arenaflex on a part‑time, remote basis. In this role, you will be the guardian of our critical data assets, ensuring that information flowing through our operational, regulatory, and customer‑service systems is accurate, consistent, and secure. Your work will directly support the efficiency of flight scheduling, crew management, passenger services, and compliance reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter, update, and validate data across multiple arenaflex platforms, including reservation systems, crew rostering tools, and compliance databases.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of incoming data to identify and correct errors, inconsistencies, or missing fields, maintaining a data‑integrity rate of 99.9% or higher.
  • Perform scheduled data audits, generate discrepancy reports, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues promptly.
  • Adhere to arenaflex’s data‑entry standards, naming conventions, and security protocols to ensure uniformity across all records.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information, following GDPR, CCPA, and internal privacy guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and other departments to clarify data requirements and share best practices.
  • Provide input on process improvements, suggesting automation opportunities or workflow enhancements that could reduce manual effort.
  • Document procedures and create quick‑reference guides for future remote team members.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1‑2 years of proven data‑entry or administrative experience, preferably within aviation, logistics, or a highly regulated industry.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and data validation). Familiarity with data‑entry software, CRM platforms, or airline reservation systems is a plus.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to spot and correct errors quickly, with a track record of maintaining high data‑quality standards.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple data streams, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while working independently.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear interaction with remote teammates and supervisors.
  • Integrity: Commitment to handling confidential information with discretion and adhering to ethical standards.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Assets

  • Experience with airline‑specific software such as Sabre, Amadeus, or Navitaire.
  • Knowledge of aviation regulations (FAA, EASA) and how they impact data handling.
  • Exposure to data‑cleaning tools (e.g., OpenRefine) or basic scripting languages (Python, VBA) for automating repetitive tasks.
  • Previous remote work experience, demonstrating self‑discipline and effective time management.
  • Certification in data management or information security (e.g., CDMP, CISSP).

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret data trends and flag anomalies before they affect downstream processes.
  • Problem‑Solving: Proactive approach to identifying root causes of data issues and recommending corrective actions.
  • Collaboration: Comfortable working within a virtual team, sharing insights, and supporting peers across time zones.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust to evolving data‑entry tools, updated compliance requirements, and shifting business priorities.
  • Customer‑Centric Attitude: Understanding that accurate data directly influences the experience of millions of passengers worldwide.

  • Opportunities to participate in cross‑departmental projects, gaining exposure to flight planning, revenue management, and compliance auditing.
  • Regular performance reviews that identify skill gaps and outline clear pathways for promotion within arenaflex’s global network.
