Webflow Migration Specialist – Contract (Remote) Duration: 30 days | Sites: 5 | Start: ASAP We're looking for an experienced Webflow developer to migrate 5 existing websites to Webflow using modern templates — while preserving all existing SEO rankings, AI search engine visibility, and Google indexation. This is a fast-paced contract engagement with a tight 30-day delivery window. Ideal candidates have done this before and can hit the ground running.
Responsibilities
- Audit all 5 existing sites for URL structure, content, and SEO signals
- Configure our Webflow template for each site
- Migrate all pages, content, and assets to Webflow
- Implement 301 redirects for any changed URLs
- Configure meta titles, descriptions, and heading hierarchy per page
- Set up XML sitemaps, robots.txt, and canonical tags
- Optimize content structure for AI search engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews) and traditional SEO
- Connect and verify Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console
- Test Core Web Vitals before and after launch
- Submit updated sitemaps to Google post-launch
- Monitor for crawl errors and ranking shifts post-launch
Requirements
- Proven experience migrating sites to Webflow (examples required)
- Strong understanding of on-page and technical SEO
- Familiar with GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and AI search optimization best practices
- Proficient with Google Search Console, GA4, and SEO tools (Ahrefs or SEMrush)
- Experience setting up 301 redirects and managing URL structures
- Ability to assess and preserve Core Web Vitals performance
- Strong attention to detail — no pages left behind
- Ability to manage 5 concurrent projects within a 30-day window
- Clear communication with regular progress updates
