Some of the most capable people we’ve ever hired came to us with curiosity, discipline, and a willingness to learn — and we provided the rest. If you are searching for a legitimate, flexible, and growth-oriented remote career, we invite you to explore what arenaflex can offer.

Position Overview

arenaflex is currently hiring motivated, detail-oriented individuals to join our expanding Data Entry and Informatics Support team. This is an entry-level-friendly position designed for candidates who may not yet have extensive professional experience but who bring strong analytical instincts, a commitment to accuracy, and a desire to grow within the healthcare technology sector. Whether you are a recent graduate, a career changer, or someone returning to the workforce, this role provides comprehensive on-the-job training, mentorship from experienced analysts, and a clear pathway toward more advanced positions in data analytics, reporting, and informatics.

As a Remote Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a foundational role in how our organization collects, organizes, validates, and transforms information into actionable insights. Your work will directly support senior analysts, project managers, and business stakeholders who rely on accurate data to guide strategic decisions. This is more than a typing job — it is the first step toward a long-term career in a thriving industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input, update, and maintain data across multiple internal systems, databases, and reporting platforms used by arenaflex.
  • Collaborate with internal partners, analysts, and cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs and assist in the design and development of reporting solutions.
  • Develop, validate, and execute queries using tools such as Microsoft Access, Excel, and SQL Server Integrated Services (SSIS) — full training will be provided for motivated learners.
  • Generate routine and ad-hoc reports that answer business questions and translate raw data into clear, actionable summaries for stakeholders.
  • Support the design and development of small-scale applications and analytical packages for internal clients.
  • Evaluate the data needs of assigned projects, ensure data integrity and suitability, and help determine appropriate data collection methods, metrics definitions, and evaluation techniques.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, identify data inconsistencies, and escalate concerns to senior team members as needed.
  • Present findings, summaries, and reports to internal clients and stakeholders in a clear, professional manner.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive healthcare and business information in accordance with company policy and applicable regulations.
  • Continuously develop your technical and analytical skills through structured training programs and real-world project experience.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should bring a combination of education, technical aptitude, and personal qualities that align with arenaflex’s values. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds and provide robust training to help you thrive.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (formulas, pivot tables, basic functions) and Microsoft Access (tables, queries, forms).
  • Basic understanding of databases, data entry best practices, and structured query language (SQL) — coursework or self-taught experience is acceptable.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy in all work products.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal clients and teammates.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing time effectively in a remote work environment.
  • Reliable internet connection, a quiet workspace, and the ability to maintain productivity without direct supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following experience will help you stand out as a candidate and may accelerate your career growth at arenaflex:

  • Hands-on experience with SQL Server, SSIS, or other enterprise reporting platforms.
  • Exposure to programming or scripting languages such as Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, or Transact-SQL.
  • Familiarity with healthcare data systems, claims processing, or related informatics tools (training can be provided for the right candidate).
  • Experience with reporting tools such as WEBI (SAP BI Launchpad), Crystal Reports, or similar platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Hadoop, Oracle, or Oracle PL/SQL.
  • Prior remote work experience or demonstrated ability to thrive in distributed team environments.

Skills and Competencies for Success

  • Analytical Thinking: The ability to look at numbers, patterns, and processes and identify what the data is telling you.
  • Curiosity and Continuous Learning: A genuine interest in technology, healthcare, and data — and the discipline to keep growing your skill set.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Comfortable identifying issues, asking the right questions, and proposing solutions.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn new tools, systems, and workflows as the organization evolves.
  • Collaboration: A team player who communicates openly, accepts feedback gracefully, and contributes to a positive group dynamic.
  • Integrity: A strong sense of ethics and responsibility when handling confidential or sensitive information.
