Business Development Representative
PCMI is a fast-growing global SaaS company and a market leader in extended warranty and service contract administration. The Business Development Representative will act as a liaison between the Marketing and Sales teams, responsible for increasing sales by developing new relationships with prospective customers and presenting the company effectively.
Responsibilities
- Determine lead eligibility from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
- Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
- Present our company to potential clients
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market by developing and qualifying new leads
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Business Development Executives
- Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
- Build market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships
- Identify and initiate contact with potential customers via follow-up calls and emails from researched leads, cold calls, web leads, assigned leads, and industry contacts
- Learn PCMI’s PCRS platform to schedule and perform high-level product demonstrations with potential customers
- Learn/understand PCMI’s position in the Auto F&I, Extended Warranty and Service Contract Industry
- Demonstrate ability to research companies you’re having meetings with and properly log information to HubSpot (i.e. develop relationship roadmaps)
- Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials
- Assist the Market Research Representative and Sr Business Development Manager in looking for new ways to streamline the way we use HubSpot and make it more useful as a sales tool
- Attend various conferences and industry trade shows events throughout the year to promote PCMI’s PCRS product
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field or equivalent work experience
- At least 1 year of prior business development experience
- Experience using CRM platforms like HubSpot and LinkedIn for CRM/sales purposes
- Ability to leverage AI-powered tools to automate routine tasks, analyze customer data, and generate actionable insights
- Experience integrating AI solutions into existing workflows to enhance team productivity and customer engagement
- Strong aptitude for evaluating and adopting emerging AI technologies to streamline processes and drive innovation
- Ability to identify opportunities for AI adoption and lead initiatives to upskill teams on the effective use of AI tools
- Knowledge of Third-Party Administration platforms for Consumer Products
- Relevant industry experience or understanding (Auto F&I, Extended Warranty, Services Contracts)
