About arenaflex – Innovating Retail Experiences Worldwide

arenaflex is a globally recognized retail powerhouse known for its iconic brand, cutting‑edge merchandising, and commitment to delivering style, quality, and value to millions of shoppers every day. With a heritage of more than a century, arenaflex has evolved from a traditional department store chain into a dynamic omnichannel leader that blends physical stores, e‑commerce, and innovative digital experiences. Our mission is to inspire customers to discover products they love while enjoying a seamless, affordable shopping journey.

Why This Role Matters

As a Lead Packaging Strategy & Data Bundling Specialist, you will be at the heart of arenaflex’s brand‑building engine. You’ll drive the creation, optimization, and execution of product bundling strategies that enhance the customer experience, increase sales, and reinforce arenaflex’s reputation for thoughtful design and value. This is a remote, data‑entry focused position that offers a competitive hourly rate of $26, a full‑time schedule, and the chance to collaborate with cross‑functional teams across the United States and around the globe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain core data requirements, taxonomy structures, and detailed specifications to support bundling initiatives across all arenaflex business units.
  • Partner with procurement, merchandising, store operations, marketing, supply chain, and compliance owners to define data needs and ensure alignment with brand standards, cost‑efficiency, and execution excellence.
  • Design, implement, and manage change cycles that keep bundling data accurate and up‑to‑date across multiple platforms and partner ecosystems.
  • Create, produce, and deliver compelling training and communication assets—both internal and external—to drive awareness of bundling best practices, data integrity, and process consistency.
  • Analyze data requirements, standards, and specifications to develop secure, scalable, and future‑proof solutions that meet industry regulations and support innovative packaging designs.
  • Provide guidance and support to cross‑functional teams to ensure proper translation and implementation of bundling data requirements, standards, and specifications.
  • Collaborate with internal compliance and policy teams to assess the impact of new data requirements, mitigate risks, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Work with global partners—including teams in the US, China, India, and other regions—to facilitate effective communication and alignment on bundling strategy, compliance, and data quality standards.
  • Leverage data analytics to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities, partnering with technology teams to quantify the impact of proposed bundling initiatives.
  • Conduct market research and benchmark arenaflex’s bundling practices against industry standards, sharing insights and recommendations with stakeholders to drive innovation.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and continuous learning.
  • Maintain a positive team environment by embodying arenaflex’s core values of Inclusion, Collaboration, and Drive, providing regular feedback, coaching, and recognition.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the broader objectives of the Packaging Strategy organization.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience creating and managing documentation and specification projects, preferably with a focus on packaging, bundling, or product strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority, lead projects, resolve conflicts, and build consensus across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strong background in documentation best practices, technical writing, and knowledge management.
  • Proven track record of developing engaging training materials, presentations, and communication plans.
  • Experience leading cross‑functional teams or projects, driving collaboration and alignment.
  • Excellent analytical, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving skills, with a data‑driven mindset.
  • Familiarity with bundling concepts, retail packaging, or consumer product development is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and diagramming tools such as Visio.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and the ability to respect and value diverse perspectives.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience with data governance, master data management, or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Knowledge of retail merchandising, e‑commerce platforms, and omnichannel fulfillment strategies.
  • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) or experience leading large‑scale initiatives.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to evolving business priorities and shifting market dynamics.
  • Strong presentation and storytelling abilities, capable of translating complex data concepts into clear, actionable insights.
  • Experience working in a globally distributed team, coordinating across time zones and cultures.
