Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Zonda is a company focused on the homebuilding industry, seeking a Director of Business Development for their TrustBuilder platform. This role involves generating new business opportunities and building relationships within builder organizations to position TrustBuilder as a leading customer experience solution.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow TrustBuilder revenue across regional and national home builders
  • Prospect and generate new business opportunities through outbound outreach, networking, industry events, referrals, and builder relationships
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with builder executives, division presidents, sales leaders, marketing teams, and customer experience stakeholders
  • Identify builder pain points related to customer satisfaction, online reputation, buyer experience, customer retention, and sales process feedback
  • Position the TrustBuilder suite as a strategic CX and reputation management solution that helps builders strengthen consumer trust and improve the homeowner journey
  • Conduct product presentations, demos, and consultative sales conversations
  • Partner cross-functionally with internal marketing, product, and customer success teams to support client growth and retention
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and sales activity within CRM systems
  • Consistently meet or exceed pipeline generation and revenue targets
  • Represent the company at builder conferences, industry events, and networking functions
  • Stay informed on builder trends, competitive landscape, online review strategies, and customer experience technology within the homebuilding industry

Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales development, or consultative B2B sales
  • Proven experience selling into home builders or related industries serving residential construction
  • Strong understanding of the homebuilding industry, builder organizational structures, and builder sales process
  • Experience prospecting and building a pipeline from scratch
  • Ability to hunt, network, and open doors with decision-makers
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills
  • Experience selling SaaS, CX platforms, reputation management solutions, marketing services, digital advertising, or technology solutions required
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to travel for client meetings and industry events as needed
  • CRM experience required; Salesforce experience preferred
