[Remote] Business Development Manager

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is a company focused on federal government contracting, and they are seeking a Business Development Manager to oversee the management and strategic growth of their contract vehicles. The role entails managing compliance, conducting market analysis, and supporting task order responses to drive revenue through government contracts.
Responsibilities
- Managing multiple contract vehicles, maintaining compliance and performance standards
- POC for the administration and management of task orders under our contract vehicles
- Monitoring GWAC/IDIQ portals for new task order releases, RFIs, and amendments
- Responding to market research with a coordinated effort across company stakeholders
- Conducting research requests to assist in capture efforts during bid assessment
- Supporting task order responses with capture managers, proposal leads, and contracts
- Managing monthly reports for active task orders as required
- Analyzing target customer sectors aligned with our growth strategy and BD priorities
- Conducting business intelligence and market analysis pertaining to our contract vehicles
- Automating repetitive workflows to increase efficiency in the task order lifecycle
Skills
- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years' experience in government contracting or a similar industry
- Experience with federal GWAC and IDIQ contract vehicles
- Proficient in using standard IT equipment and software such as Microsoft Office 365 tool suite
- Internet savvy with the ability to conduct research and analysis using AI
- Active DOD Secret clearance
- A desire to learn new skills, be proactive in supporting the business development team, and work collaboratively across the organization to meet company growth goals
