[Remote] Financial Planning Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Russell Tobin is seeking an experienced FP&A Specialist to join their growing organization for a 3-month contract. The role involves building financial models, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, analyzing variances, and providing actionable insights to improve financial processes.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain financial models to support business decisions
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial reporting
- Analyze variances and identify key business trends
- Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs to improve visibility across the organization
- Support planning efforts related to revenue, expenses, headcount, and compensation
- Partner with finance leadership and cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights
- Help improve reporting processes, automation, and overall FP&A efficiency
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
- 3+ years of FP&A, Financial Analyst, or Corporate Finance experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and reporting
- Experience with financial planning tools and reporting platforms
- Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, HubSpot, or similar analytics tools is a plus
