Special Education Teacher - Flexible Virtual Position

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs. Provide direct instruction and tailored support to help students meet their learning goals. Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create an inclusive and positive learning environment. Monitor and evaluate student progress, making necessary adjustments to teaching strategies. Keep accurate records of student performance and behavior, ensuring compliance with educational standards.
Qualifications
Active teaching certification or special services provider license in Special Education issued by the State of Arkansas. Specialized training or endorsements in Special Education. At least 3 years of experience working with students with diverse learning needs. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Position Details Start Date: As soon as possible through the end of the school year. Availability: Part-time or full-time - let us know your preference! Caseload: Managing approximately 15 students. Virtual position - work from the comfort of your own space.
