[Remote] DevOps Engineer with GCP(W2 only)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Nasscomm is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong Google Cloud Platform (GCP) expertise to support a large-scale enterprise data environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and administering cloud infrastructure while ensuring high availability, security, scalability, and performance across critical business applications and data platforms.
Responsibilities
- Support and administer enterprise-scale GCP environments
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and reliability
- Manage and support SQL databases and related data services
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Configure and manage Kubernetes, containers, and cloud-native services
- Perform infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Ensure cloud security, compliance, and operational best practices
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis
- Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability solutions
- Collaborate with development, data, and infrastructure teams to support enterprise applications
Skills
- 6–9 years of DevOps or Cloud Engineering experience
- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience with SQL administration and database support
- Hands-on expertise with GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine)
- Hands-on expertise with Docker & Containers
- Hands-on expertise with Terraform
- Hands-on expertise with CI/CD Pipelines
- Hands-on expertise with GitHub / GitLab / Jenkins
- Hands-on expertise with Linux Administration
- Hands-on expertise with Cloud Monitoring & Logging
- Scripting experience using Python, Bash, or Shell scripting
- Strong troubleshooting and automation skills
